lol. I run the Wishlist Project, and had considered creating a documentation project. I hope that this site becomes a great resource for users of many levels. Please change the link to: Mozilla Firebird's Features.

Andyb wrote, "The WISHLIST project has an FAQ now? Go figure."

The Wishlist Project has an Unofficial Wishlist FAQ for a long time now. I created it because I thought the Official Wishlist FAQ was outdated. I hope to revive my FAQ this summer when I have free time.

Our screenshots page documents the search abilities of both Mozilla Seamonkey and Mozilla Firebird. You can use (modify), translate them (or just link to them) as you wish.

... dot org.
I was about to start a project called cardzilla, which was meant to be about a mozilla reference card - a short description of lesser known hidden features and keyboard shortcuts formatted in a nice one-page 3 columns reference card (similar to the emacs reference card, so to speak). Perhaps this could be handled by your project. I am now at the stage of logging features that I would like to include in it.

here is the link to the emacs ref card to giv e you an idea.
One page should be enough and I think if accurately planned it should help a lot your evangelization efforts.

Ricky, thanks for the offer... once I've got together a longer list of things to cover I'll probably take you up on that; there's a lot of handy documentation for mozilla but it's very scattered, and it would be nice to bring it all together in one place- I've been starting with a list of links to some sites and I'm finding docs in unexpected places (like the wishlist!). Andrea, if you're interested in combining your efforts as a subproject, I'd be glad to get CVS access set up for you.

Hey all!
This is a great idea. Mozilla is a very hard concept to convey to new users especially during the transition from Seamonkey to Firebird. I'm not a dev. but I understand how Mozilla works as well as anybody and feel they I could be helpfull. I use OS X and Seamonkey, Firebird, Camino. I also use Windows98 SE (less though) and on there I use Netscape, Seamonkey, Firebird, and K-Meleon. If my services would be of any use please contact me at averylund@hotmail.com .

What we need is not another project but people writing real documentation. The documentation newsgroup is a good place to start. I've meant to finalize my how-to-contribute doc to help new doc contributors get started quickly. Meanwhile, if anyone has any problem on how to get started, feel free to contact me: stolenclover%yahoo.com.tw
